• 1. What does the display on the BCST-75D show?

  The BCST-75D features an on-device display that shows the scanned barcode content and barcode type, upload and transmission results, connection status, battery level and the time. You can verify every scan directly on the scanner instead of walking back to a PC, which keeps warehouse and retail workflows fast and hands-free.

• 2. Which barcodes can the BCST-75D read, including on screens?

  The scanner decodes almost all 1D, 2D and QR codes on paper and on screens, including QR Code, DataMatrix and PDF-417. Blurry, damaged and dirty barcodes are read and transmitted reliably as well, which makes the BCST-75D suitable for goods receiving, inventory counts, production lines and retail checkout.

• 3. How durable is the BCST-75D in harsh environments?

  The housing is made of sturdy ABS with a thickened soft TPU cover over more than 50% of the body, so the industrial-grade scanner withstands falls from up to 11.8 ft (3.6 m). With its IP66 rating it keeps scanning reliably in dusty warehouses and damp, rainy work environments.

• 4. How long does the battery last, and is a charging dock included?

  The 2600 mAh high-capacity battery works with the Inateck low-power algorithm for exceptional endurance: a full charge allows 180 days of standby and up to 180,000 scans. Intuitive power indicators on the scanner head let you monitor the battery level in real time, and the dedicated charging dock lets you top up conveniently during downtime.

• 5. Which connection modes and systems does the BCST-75D support?

  The BCST-75D supports three connection modes: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth and wired. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, iPadOS and Linux. The transmission distance reaches up to 100 m in open environments and up to 60 m indoors.
